Where did your interest in hockey come from?
I grew up watching my younger brother play and always thought it would be fun to play.
Why and when did you start skating or playing hockey?
I don't remember learning how to skate but have a vague memory of a pair of double runners. I did a couple of winter sessions of figure skating at 18/19 yrs old. I started playing hockey five years ago after seeing a little ad in the Monitor looking for players
What was it like to go out on the ice for the first time as an adult, or have you always skated?
I was a little nervous about going on ice for the first time w/hockey equipment on. It was easier to skate than I thought it would be.
What are other people’s reactions to your playing hockey?
I think people are usually surprised when I tell them I play hockey.
Have you ever been injured playing hockey?
I have only had a few bruises playing hockey and usually they are self-inflicted.
What is your occupation?
I am a Courtroom Clerk.
Do you have other hobbies you’d like to mention?
My newest hobby is skiing.
