Lisa, a web site designer, started playing hockey in March 2006. Her primary motivation was to be able to play with then-boyfriend Rob, who had already been playing for a number of years. Her second summer on the ice, she was able to play with him on a co-ed team in Exeter, NH, although she missed about half of the season with an MCL injury.
Lisa joined the Nor'Easters in the Fall 2006 season at the suggestion of some other team members she met in a hockey skills class. She convinced Rob to come along and coach the Saturday team, which has been a fun experience for him and has improved everyone's game!
Lisa's favorite moment on the ice came in October 2007, when she and Rob had their wedding reception at Leddy Arena in Burlington, VT - including a pick-up hockey game with family and friends.
